Alacant Street Market
Plaza Séneca,
March 22 to 24
With the acoustic concert of La Habitación Roja, design market with more than forty stalls and twelve vintage style foodtrucks.
From March 22 to 24, Alicante will once again be one of the stops of the Alacant Street Market Tour, and that's nine times already. The Seneca square will become a meeting and leisure place, where live music will be played throughout the weekend. There will be a total of six free concerts, with acoustic performances by La Habitación Roja (Friday night) and Neuman (Saturday night) as highlights. For the little ones, there will be fun workshops and performances such as that of Edy the Clown on Sunday morning. In the gastronomic section, there will be twelve foodtrucks with street food of all kinds: gourmet hamburgers, signature hot dogs, Mexican cuisine, Argentine recipes, and of course, delicious crepes and waffles. But the novelty of this year is the great market of art, design and fashion with more than forty exhibitors, which will be installed in the Seneca Space. You can consult the complete program and information about the artists below.

La Habitación Roja
The Valencian quartet La Habitación Roja was formed in 1994 by Jorge Martí (vocals and guitars) and José Marco (drums). Pau Roca (guitars) joined shortly after the first demo was released (March 1995), and since 2001, Marc Greenwood (bass) has been the fourth member. His career is a true reflection of his passion for timeless pop songs and is marked by authentic anthems that have touched the heartstrings of several generations. Pop rock of wide and generous views, built and practiced with a mixture of enthusiasm and professionalism that makes them unique, singular and long-lived.
Neuman
During the nineties the singer, composer and guitarist Paco Román was already known in the Murcia scene as leader of the group La Fábrica de Luz. After the dissolution of the band in 1998, Román began a new project which he named after his dog, although Neuman gained momentum almost ten years later when he met pianist Fernando Lillo. Neuman’s first album, “Plastic Heaven”, appeared in 2010 and was well received by critics and fans of styles such as alternative rock and shoegaze. It was followed by “The Family Plot” (2012), “Bye Fear/Hi Love” (2013) and “If” (2014), the latter being the first for the prestigious independent label Subterfuge Records. In 2017 would come the double album “Crashpad” and in 2023, “Waterhole”. His latest release is the single “No voy a llorar” (2024).
The Liverpool Band
The Liverpool Band is a musical formation born in Alicante in 1997, which over time has become one of the best tribute bands of The Beatles, internationally. Their musical and artistic interpretation has achieved a high level of loyalty to the English quartet, having been invited several times to Liverpool, on the occasion of the “International Beatles Week”, where they performed at the legendary pub “The Cavern”. Their European projection has also taken them to the stage of the prestigious “Beatles Day” in Mons (Belgium) and to participate in the tenth edition of the French “Beatles Night”, held in Lille. In 2016, they were again invited to the 30th anniversary of the “International Beatles Week” in Liverpool”, where they gave eight concerts in iconic venues of the city.
Dingolondango
Dingolondango is a vintage music band, inspired by the best jazz, latin jazz, swing and bossa nova trios and quartets of the first half of the 20th century. Their select repertoire, with danceable songs for all audiences, evokes the Broadway swing of the golden years, with Sito Soler (drums), César Sánsano (bass), Pablo León (sax and trumpet) and Primo Josu (guitar, ukulele and vocals).
