Torrevieja Street Market
Parque de las Naciones,
October 8 to 13
The legendary Spanish band OBK will open an event that will feature six days of free live music, children's performances, vintage market and a great gastronomic offer, served by our foodtrucks.
After the great reception of the two previous editions, Torrevieja will once again host the Alacant Street Market Tour, in what will become the most ambitious stop of the tour, with up to six days of live music, street food and vintage market. There will be many concerts, including the legendary Spanish band of the nineties, OBK, which will make us relive unforgettable songs like "Historias de amor" or "La princesa de mis sueños". Other artists on stage will be Xeco Rojo, Días de Radio, Alkimia, Flacko y sus canciones, Grupo Swing and, of course, the tribute bands Siglo XXI (Mecano), Keeng (Queen), Control Stone (The Rolling Stones) and The Blister (The Beatles). The event will also feature children's performances, such as Edy the Clown, Alexandre Morera's storytelling and circus activities. In the gastronomic section, we will enjoy the best foodtrucks with a variety of flavors that will invade the Parque de las Naciones of Torrevieja: smash burgers, signature hot dogs, Thai cuisine, Colombian arepas, Mexican nachos, Argentinean meats and dumplings, international brioches, and a lot of extra stalls, among which there will be waffles and creative crepes.

OBK (Spanish electronic Pop)
OBK is a Spanish electronic pop music band, formed in 1991 by Jordi Sánchez from Málaga and Miguel Ángel Arjona from Barcelona. After celebrating twenty years in active, in 2012 it was announced the withdrawal of Miguel Arjona from the project, which is still active under the direction of Jordi Sanchez. Their last album, “OBK Live en Mexico”, was released in 2016. OBK’s name is the abbreviation of “Oberkorn (It’s a small town)”, instrumental track by Depeche Mode. As of 2018, they have released 12 albums and 4 compilations, plus several dozen singles. Their concert will not miss some of their greatest hits, such as “Historias de amor”, “El cielo no entiende”, “La princesa de mis sueños” or “Tú sigue así”.
Siglo XXI (Tribute to Mecano)
Siglo XXI is a band from Alicante that pays tribute to Mecano, one of the most iconic Spanish pop bands of the 80s and 90s. The voice timbre of its singer, Rachel Santos, is very close to that of Ana Torroja, making us travel back in time to songs as well known as “Hoy no me puedo levantar”, “Perdido en mi habitación”, “Barco a Venus”, “Me colé en una fiesta”, “Ay qué pesado” or “Me cuesta tanto olvidarte”.
Keeng (Tribute to Queen)
Keeng is a band formed by five experienced musicians that pays homage to one of the references of rock music of the 20th century. With their own style but respecting the essence of Queen, we will be able to listen to songs such as “We will rock you”, “Bohemian Rhapsody”, “Crazy little thing called love” or “We are the champions”, among many other themes that have already become universal classics.
Control Stone (Tribute to The Rolling Stones)
Control Stone is a rock band formed by musicians from several countries, which pays tribute to the legendary The Rolling Stones, still active. Since their formation in 2008, they have toured much of the national scene, always with the charisma of the Argentine Santi Stone, vocalist of the band, who in his eagerness to make his movements resemble those of Mick Jagger, it could be said that he even surpasses them… But Control Stone is much more than a tribute band, since they perform their own versions and adapt part of the lyrics of “their satanic majesties” with their personal stamp.
Días de radio (Spanish pop-rock versions)
Días de Radio is a Spanish pop-rock cover band from Alicante, formed by musicians with a long career behind them. In their repertoire you can find great hits that have accompanied us all our lives, from the classics of the 60-70’s, through the hits of the 80’s movida madrileña, the songs that marked the 90’s and even the most current of the national scene. Miguel Ríos, Los Secretos, Pereza, El Canto del Loco, Sergio Dalma… are some of the bands and artists that you can listen and dance to.
